I'm set up to fit bodies of all shapes and sizes, including during pregnancy — many expecting parents worry about lying face-down, so I use bolsters and pillows to make most positions comfortable.
Not a diagnosis — for more information, contact me or another trusted healthcare provider.
Some aches and pains of pregnancy are unavoidable but can be eased. I start by looking at structural discomforts and putting a plan in place; once relieved, we move into relaxing massage to help settle and navigate the ups and downs of pregnancy hormones. Essential oils are optional, depending on scent sensitivity, and never compulsory — pregnancy-safe only.
My mother was a midwife for most of my life before retiring, so I grew up around — and heard far too much about — the ins and outs of pregnancy. I can't say that I have much lived experience of pregnancy as a 26-year-old man, but I am full of patience — a gentle ear and a calm, relaxing space, plus recommendations and connections to local prenatal exercise classes if you're looking for them. New parents are welcome back after delivery too.
