Registered massage therapist TorontoWho is Toronto Island Wellness

Hi, I’m Oliver Bee

I’m a Registered Massage Therapist, five years in practice, and I opened Toronto Island Wellness in 2023 because I felt my community needed a dedicated space for physical and remedial wellness. I see clients in my studio on Ward’s Island and at home across downtown Toronto, and I also practise in Kitchener-Waterloo (oliver-rmt.com).

My background is in sports therapy and surgical rehab, injury recovery and strength building, prenatal and sports massage, and powerlifting and movement coaching. I also pay close attention to the sensory side of a session: the room, the sound, the pace.

How I work

An informed approach

I take an informed approach, recognizing that you know your body better than anyone else. I see clients for all sorts of reasons, but in every case I’m here to give you the skills and understanding to take charge of your own healing and well-being.

Sessions can combine relaxation massage, aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, PRT (Positional Release Technique) and sound therapy, depending on what you need that day.

Over my years in practice I’ve worked alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, Chinese medicine practitioners and other RMTs, and I bring what I’ve learned from them into each session. When something is outside my own experience, I’ll help you find someone who can meet your needs.
