Groin strain massage therapy TorontoGroin (Adductor) Strain
A strain of the adductor muscles.
Not a diagnosis — for more information, contact me or another trusted healthcare provider.
Pain along the inner (medial) thigh, often worse bringing the legs together or changing direction.
I take extra care with draping and check in more frequently on this one, since it's an understandably sensitive area to have worked on. After years of treating groin strains, it doesn't make me uncomfortable in the least — my job is to help you move and manage pain. For you, it's a stranger touching your inner thigh. For me, it's Tuesday. Once we get started, most clients are focused on the work, not the awkwardness, and you can ask to adjust or stop at any point — we'll make whatever changes you need. From there, treatment follows the same shared muscle-strain protocol used throughout the leg.
Typical course: Mild: 1–3 weeks. Moderate: 4–8 weeks.
