Home visit massage TorontoHome visit massage in Leslieville
If your Leslieville home is a busy one, with kids napping upstairs, a dog who'd rather you didn't leave or a work call at four, fitting in a massage can feel like more trouble than it's worth.
That's what home visits are for. I come to you with everything the session needs, set up in whichever room works, and give you a full, unhurried massage without anyone having to leave the house. There's no sitter to book and no streetcar along Queen to catch afterwards. When the session ends you're already home, so you can lie still a little longer, put the kettle on and let the rest of the day stay slow.
What sessions often focus on
- A sore low back and achy wrists from carrying. Toddlers, car seats, strollers and laundry baskets all go up and down narrow stairs and around tight corners, and it adds up in the low back, the shoulders and the wrists. A session gives those areas the attention they rarely get, at a pace that suits you.
- Pulled hamstrings, rolled ankles and a sore throwing arm. A season of rec-league ball on the Greenwood Park diamonds leaves its marks: the hamstring that grabbed on the way to first, the ankle that turned in the outfield, the shoulder that's made one throw too many. I can help you manage those pulls and strains between games, and keep an eye on whatever's taking the extra load.
- A stiff neck and sore shoulder from a dog that pulls. Two walks a day with a dog who's always a step ahead keep one shoulder tugged forward and your grip working the whole way round the block. I work through the neck, that leash-side shoulder and the forearm down to the wrist.

Getting set up
Small rooms, a narrow hall and a steep staircase are all fine; I come ready for them. Set-up takes a few minutes in whichever room has the space, whether that's the front room of a Victorian cottage or a bedroom upstairs, and if you're in one of the Carlaw lofts, just send me directions from the street to your door. The table is a mobile one with 12 inches of memory foam, made up with soft cotton sheets, and I bring music and aromatherapy if you'd like them. My background spans experience design and a lot of hands-on clinical work, so the comfort and the care get equal attention.
